Henry is a recently converted fully Off-grid High Roof VW T5 Transporter. Equipped with a diesel heater, fitted with quality interior and supplied with essential camping accessories.
Meet Henry, the Wombat Chaser!
Henry is compact, but spacious for when you are parked and has an automatic gear box for easy driving and air-conditioning. Experience Tasmania in Euro-chic style on a comfortable rear facing couch for that evening cocktail with a sunset view and front facing couch for a cooler morning breakfast! When extended our comfy bed is 1,2m x 2m in size featuring a nice firm foam mattress and linen included in the rental.
Our campervan in details
Inside you will find everything you need, including a wooden worktop with a sink and running water (fresh water & waste tanks) with a rear hose for a quick rinse off (cold water only). You can top up the water tank at any campsite through the outside inlet with a hose (usually provided at campsites). A top-loader 30L fridge is big enough for two and drives out on sliders for loading. You can also easily access it by lifting a part of the worktop. Plenty of shelve storage for your clothes and under the bed for your bags. For cooking there is a pull-out outdoor kitchen cooktop with gas stove + camping crockery and utensils. Camping chairs and table are included. Roof vent has LED lights and a fan (blowing in or out at various speeds). You can power Henry up simply while driving, there will be enough charge for days! There is a USB & USB-C charging point + a 12V socket available for bigger electronics (laptop, drone etc). Removable reflective window covers are included in the rental. They will keep the heat inside, when it gets cooler, or protect the van from the sun when it's hot.

Two adults can comfortably sleep and drive in Henry. There are two seatbelted seats, so it's perfect for couples and solo travellers.
At the moment there is an age limit to minimum 25 years old, younger please contact us for possibility to rent. There is a km limit of 200/day, but that's more than enough to explore Tassie!
